Data Privacy & Security at Compressify

At Compressify, we take the security of your files and personal information seriously. Here's exactly how data is handled across our compression and conversion tools, our Figma plugin, and our WordPress plugin.

Compressify is built for practical image, PDF, and plugin workflows where you need smaller files fast, without creating unnecessary long-term storage risk. Our security controls are focused on the upload, processing, download, and deletion lifecycle, so files are handled only for the compression or conversion task you requested — and nothing more.

Secure Transmission

All file uploads and downloads happen over HTTPS, encrypting data in transit so it can't be intercepted.

Encrypted Processing

Files are encrypted in transit and at rest while queued for processing, and are only decrypted for the moment it takes to run your requested compression or conversion.

Automatic Deletion

Once a file is compressed or converted and returned to you, both the original and processed copies are automatically deleted from our systems.

Limited Processing Scope

Uploaded files are used only for the compression or conversion action you requested — never for manual review, resale, or any unrelated purpose.

No File Content Inspection

We don't manually inspect or analyze the contents of files you process. Account details like your email are handled separately — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what account and usage data we collect.

Plugin Workflows

The Figma plugin processes only the frames or assets you select and doesn't retain your source file afterward. The WordPress plugin optimizes media within your own site.

Privacy and Security First

Every part of Compressify — the web tools, the Figma plugin, and the WordPress plugin — is built with privacy and security as a core requirement, not an afterthought.
